Casco Bay Flotilla has 4 safe boating courses that are offered by the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. They can be categorize as Basic, Better and Best.
Our Basic course is Introduction To Basic Boating Safety and is a seminar held on Zoom. This course only skims through really basic boating safety information. It's a 2 night 2 hours each course. Our Better course is the Boat America course. If you are looking for a course that meet the State Of Maine new requirement of having a NASBLA (National Association of State Boating Law Administrators) Boating Safety Certificate then this is the course for you. This is the only course that we offer that the State of Maine will accept for their certificate requirements.
